Dr. Meiser is a South Florida native, growing up in Jupiter, FL before attending the University of Miami, where she majored in Biology with a triple minor in Chemistry, Spanish Language, and Sports Medicine. From Miami, she moved to West Texas to pursue medical school at Texas Tech University. She was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society for her commitment to compassionate patient care and volunteerism. After obtaining her medical degree, she completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. During her residency, she served as Chief Resident and obtained numerous honors including several teaching and research awards. Her research interests centered around contraceptive access in vulnerable populations, Mullerian variants, and preeclampsia, and she has been able to both present and publish several of her works.
